Mastering prior to manufacturing is taking longer than anticipated as the band plays the waiting game to see their labor of love come to completion...."the bizarre that has plagued this project from the beginning continues even after the mix was finished" says lead vocalist Rex Scott. "We thought we were finally home free once we got the mix done but that sadly has not been the case". Plans are proceeding however and select radio stations are receiving the song World Covered In Blood via a special download offered by Image Records for airplay. That song will be the first video from the album as well. If you are a radio station and would like to participate in this promotion just email the band from their website and your request will be forwarded to Image Records.

The WINNING album cover has been selected! Robert Wilson from the great state of Georgia came up with a very apocalyptic concept inspired from the title cut. Mixing continues and nears completion. The album may be released worldwide via the internet first for those who wish to purchase downloads of the album before it is in stores!! Once the mix is complete the band may take a short vacation. Rex has been worn out by this year long project and needs a break. Our last album Fire It Up has been introduced into Europe recently and is getting many great reviews and radio airplay in the U.K. , France and Germany! We will post some of the reviews on our main website for you to read. They are awesome!

Greg Bishop To Fly In From Australia To Complete World Covered In Blood

Guitarist and group founder Greg Bishop is flying in from Australia in December to put the finishing touches on and assist Rex in mixing the highly anticipated new album. "We are all looking forward to getting this project finished and in the can" says Greg. Unexpected delays and their engineer quitting early on due to personal reasons were the largest part of making the project late. "Everything is in God's timing anyway" says singer Rex Scott. "We did everything we could do to get it done on time but you can't really plan on the unexpected. Something good must be going to come from this album because the devil fought it so hard" Bassist Rob Kniep is coming in from Vegas to complete all his bass parts next month. So 2008 wil ring in the new year with a brand new X-Sinner record of all new material which many fans have already written in about after hearing the first sneak preview from it on the homepage this month.

The new song preview is upon the homepage!! "Ready To Go" let's all know that the new recording is coming along and is sounding great. Real raw and how the band has always wanted to sound (and sounds live) as opposed to the Pakaderm labels overproduction style the group always struggled with in the past. Being on the Image Record label has allowed the band the artistic freedom to sound how THEY want to sound - not how some producer wants them to sound. Email us from our contact page to let the band know what you think of the new stuff. Also the cover art contest has now started. Even tho the working title of the project has been Back In Red -the alternate title is World Covered In Blood. A final decision for the title will be decided in January. All cover concepts for the new album submitted by the fans will be entered and the winner will recieve a large X-Sinner package of merchandise including shirts, stickers, cd's and more! You don't have to be an artist to enter either! Simply write down and describe your concept and email it to us from our "Contact Page" on this site if you cannot draw or use Photoshop. All entries will be considered. Email entries to: x-sinnerrocks@hotmail.com. For regular mail of hand drawn art, mail to our merchandising address on our X-Sinnerware page. To those who have already sent in ideas -they are on file and are already entered. Thanks and good luck!!
